July 8, 2015 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Mountain streams are amazing habitats for people and wildlife.  Come spend the day with one of our fisheries biologists and education staff as we share techniques used in the field to study our mountain streams and the wildlife that inhabit them.  Some of the questions we’ll discuss are:  How healthy are our trout populations?   What about the other animals that live in or use the rivers and streams?  What are the factors affecting our mountain waterways?  You’ll also learn activities you can take back to your classroom.  Prepare to get wet and have lots of fun in the Davidson River.  This workshop is suitable for formal and non-formal educators.  CEU and EEC credits are available upon workshop completion.  Ages 18 and up.
