The Historic Toxaway Foundation and The Grand Olde Station Restaurant present three summer Sunday Night Stories events at Golden Farm, on June 29, July 13, and July 27. Each event features a professionally-produced historical film under a sheltered viewing area, plus petting zoo and outdoor activities for kids. Meet and mingle from 4:30pm until the film begins at 5pm; then hang out in the great outdoors with friends and family until dusk. Food and drink, including beer and wine, will be available at an additional charge onsite. Tickets are just $35pp (kids 12-under are free!).
On July 13, THE 60s REBIRTH OF LAKE TOXAWAY tells the tale of developers Reg Heinitsh Sr. and Donnie Boyd, who came together to construct a new dam, rebirthing the current Lake Toxaway, which eventually helped to create todays vibrant Historic Toxaways communities: Sapphire, Lake Toxaway, and Rosman. Experience the past as if its present!
