Opening Reception for "Community," an exhibition of fine art and craft

Join artists and other arts enthusiasts on Friday, January 17 (5-7pm), at Transylvania Community Arts Council (349 South Caldwell Street)for the opening reception of “Community,” an exhibition of fine art and craft. 2024 and particularly Hurricane Helene showed us the importance of “community.” In this exhibit regional and local artists have created artwork that illustrates the importance of community (both in Transylvania County and beyond) and how community is evident in our area (and beyond). Participating artists will be on hand during the reception to talk with visitors and to discuss their work.
